 NIGHTLIFE IN BARCELONA

Apart from Gaudi, Picasso, shopping, beaches and sun, the nightlife in Barcelona is an another thing that attracts people from all over the world. Whatever you like is here! Do you want to see a good play or cabaret show or are you rather party animal? Don’t worry! There’re a lot of activities to choose...

La Rambla and Barri Gotico – the combination of the atmosphere of medieval Spain, international ambience and its central location, makes this the ideal place to start your night out in Barcelona. Although there are a lot of touristy traps, you also can find really amazing places like ‘Rita Blue’ or ‘Bosque de los Fades’. Walking down La Rambla towards the sea, crossing the wooden bridge, you will reach the Rambla de Mar and the vivid ‘Maremagnum’. During the day this is a shopping centre, but when it becomes dark, the place converts into a vivid venue packed with bars and discotheques.

The next place for everyone who loves dancing and music, especially on the open terraces during hot summer nights, is the Olympic yachting marina with densely packed clubs and bars. Another clubbing centres are Poble Nou and Poble Espanol (Montjuic), quite boring during the day, they become really fancy and entertaining after the nightfall.

But Barcelona is as well the place where a lot of musical, film and theater festivals have place. The city has also solid tradition of streetart and performance. The list with current events is published in weekly “Guia del ocio” easy avaliable in every news-stand.
