City of MÁLAGA

The city of Malaga in Spain with its approximately 550 000 habitants is the second largest city of region, one of the major ports and the most important International Airport in Andalusia. It is also a capital of the province that streches along the Costa del Sol to Gibraltar.

Málaga is mostly famous as a place of birth of Pablo Picasso. That`s why you can find here his museum and visit his home. Another famous person connected with the city and can be seen during festivals of Malaga is Antonio Banderas.

The strong influence of Moors on the city of Malaga in the past gives you the opportunity to admire the monuments and remians of two mixed cultures. The Alcazaba, the castle of the Moors, from where you can enjoy magnificent view of Málaga and surroundings, an unfinished cathedral called by Malagenos “la manquita” and the roman theatre can`t be missed.

Here you will find top-rate facilities for golf, watersports, horseback riding, and skiing all within close reach and cultural events at the famous Cervantes Theatre, concerts and the new Picasso Museum. All of that together with beautiful weather, sandy beaches and andalusian way of enjoying life make Malaga a perfect destination to learn Spanish language in Spain.
