Palma de Mallorca has a lively and varied art scene and a vibrant nightlife that both suit any taste. The visitor can choose from among stirring jazz clubs, art galleries, theaters and cinemas or well known discos playing any kind of music you imagine.
The evening on Mallorca starts at around 10pm. Mallorca summer nights are ideal for sipping an iced drink on one of the open-air terraces and chatting into the early hours. Bars stay open until around 3am, which is when the crowd moves to the disco dancefloors...
Palma, with it`s lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere, is packed with bars and dance clubs where you can easily mix with friendly locals.
The majority of packed and noisy bars is concentrated in a zone of narrow strets near Plaza Llotja, Plaza de la Reina and Plaza de la Drassana. Here you will find everything you want from blatant tourist dives to stylish bodegas.
For the city’s club scene head west to the modern zone of Avinguda de Gabriel Roca and Plaça de Gomila. There are the many clubs that play all sorts of music such as salsa, R-n-B, pop, dance, funky house, etc.
Palma also plays host to a few casinos, which are great fun for a night out and to try your luck.
