There are 2 international airports in Tenerife: Airport Los Rodeos – Tenerife North – operating national flights or flights from Amsterdam, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, and Airport Reina Sofia – Tenerife South – with departures and arrivals of the rest of the international flights not covered at Airport Los Rodeos.

From Los Rodeos airport

You can take bus number 102 that leaves daily from 6:15 AM to 11:45 PM with intervals of 20-30 minutes. Also line 309 goes to Puerto de la Cruz from the bus stop in front of the airport. 309 leaves daily from 07:00 AM to 09:45 PM. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs 3.00€.

You can take one of the taxis that usualy are waiting in front of the airport. It is the better option if you have a heavy suitcase. It takes 25 minutes to reach the city centre and costs 25.00-30.00€.

From Reina Sofia airport

The Aerobus leaves daily at 9:45, 14:00, 20:00 and 23:30 directly to Puerto de la Cruz. It takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Puerto de la Cruz and costs 7.00 €.

Tenerife South – Costa Adeje
From Reina Sofia airport

Take line number 487 from the entrance to the airport to the Torviscas bus stop. The bus leaves every hour from 7.00AM to 9.10PM. After 9.00PM you should take line 111. The journey by bus takes 20 minutes and costs 1.80€.

The more comfortable option is to take a taxi from the airport directly to your final destination. The price is approximately 30.00€

From Los Rodeos airport

To get to Costa Adeje from the North of Tenerife you have to go first to Santa Cruz. The buses that operate this route are 101,102, 108 that leave every 30 minutes, and line 109 that leaves every hour. It costs 1€ to reach Santa Cruz. Then you have to take bus 111 from the bus station to Torviscas bus stop. The journey takes 90 minutes and costs 5.71€.
