IH Barcelona was founded in 1972 and is a part of the large chain of language schools International House World Organistaion. It is also accredited by Instituto Cervantes and has some of important certificates like FEDELE ( Federacion de Escuelas de Espanol Lengua Estranjera).
The building that hosts IH Barcelona school is a 6-story tenement house with a characteristic trangular shape dated from the 19th century. The base is located in the center of the city, just five minutes walk from the main square Plaza de Cataluña. There are over 40 spacious, air-conditioned classrooms, library, study room and free internet access computer laboratory. The school`s bar with outdoor terrace serves drinks, snacks and hot food throughout the day.
